BEECHDOWN STABLES

Situated in the heart of the chalk downlands, above the famous racing village of Lambourn, Beechdown Stables boasts a range of excellent facilities, in a private and peaceful location, that's invaluable to each horse and their individual training needs.

Gallops

Unlimited access to a private 7 furlong all-weather gallop, with a steady incline. There are also various grass gallops of varying inclines, inclusive of a mile long steep stretch through the valley. All of the gallops are looked after daily, with a meticulous approach, to ensure they are kept to the highest standard possible all year around.

General Facilities

There is one traditional main barn accompanied by two new American style barns, stabling 96 horses.

We have a private indoor school filled with a polytrack surface that allows us a safe environment to break yearlings and introduce them to the starting stalls. Used daily, it provides a wonderful foundation for exercise as each horse is warmed up here every morning before heading out onto the gallops. It also allows us to carry on training whatever the weather or tailor individual support to a horse that may need it.

Further to this, we have a horse walker, starting stalls, paddocks and turn-out pens, hot water wash down bays and four fully-equipped horse boxes for transport.
