We were delighted to welcome our first winner of the new year last week (8th March) in the shape of Fearnot; an encouraging three-year-old colt who performed brilliantly over the seven furlongs at Wolverhampton, on his career debut.

Finding himself sat towards the rear after breaking from the stalls, he looked like he had a lot of ground to make up, as we watched the front runner pull several lengths clear of the pack. After making headway off the home turn, he showed a pleasing turn of foot to win somewhat cosily, by just under a length. A very good ride from David Probert, on such an impressive debut.

We look forwards to this colt’s promising next steps leading into the season for his owner, Jason Goddard, and the rest of the team.
