It was an exciting Sunday of racing with a winning performance once again from Harry Three in the Prix Kistena Listed Race at Deauville this weekend (10th July). Paired with jockey Ryan Moore, proving a successful formula again following the duo winning last time out at York, the three-year-old 11/8 favourite broke well to settle and find his pace towards the rear of the field of nine runners. Changing gear, the colt ran strongly up the inside to challenge and hit the front with an impressive turn of foot and cross the line with a three and a half length lead.
We were so delighted with this result as Harry Three continues to progress, making this his third win from his last three starts. It was also great to see him handle himself so well after his first travel overseas. He’s a very strong horse with an exciting profile and he is making all the right steps, so we look forward to seeing where further improvement can take him.
Three-year-old Wings of War also put in a good effort this weekend at Deauville, finishing third out of 11 runners in the six-furlong Prix de Ris-Orangis (Group 3). Nestled behind the field in early stages, Kieran Shoemark pushed him forwards to smartly quicken on the stand-side and finish strongly in the frame beaten just three lengths by the winner.
