We were delighted to see Bonny Angel finish with her head in front once again at Doncaster, just three weeks after her last winning performance at Leicester. Ridden by John Fahy in the Fillies’ Nursery Handicap over the 6½ furlongs, we were happy to see her handle the step up in trip and improve yet again with this run.
Always up with the pace, Bonny Angel ran down the middle of the track and was in early contention as she led them through the final two furlongs and pulled away with a tremendously impressive four length lead over the line. It was fantastic to see her win with such ease and the notable turn of foot her pedigree promises. We look ahead to her next steps and her future potential with owning connections, Peter and Josie Ridgers.
