Full marks to Dashing Harry and Oliver Timms who produced a wonderful winning success on a really miserable day in very wet conditions. The ground was changed to heavy just before his race and he broke well from the stalls on his first attempt over 5f, travelled really keenly with the eventual 2nd upsides through the first half of the race. He was briefly headed entering the final furlong but then dug in from a very well balanced and determined ride from Ollie, who excelled in the saddle and his valuable 7lbs claim was surely a winning ingredient on the very testing ground.
It is wonderful for all of the syndicate to enjoy his winning success as a 2yr old and I believe there is more to come next year. I am sure he will develop more strength over the winter and this sign off for the season was a first class effort for everyone to enjoy. Here’s to even better things next year.
