Good Banter Storms to Success on Second Outing

Running in the Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton on Monday (23rd September), we were delighted to see two-year-old colt, Good Banter, finish out in front on only his second effort.

Showing good pace after the break, Rossa Ryan had him positioned prominently on the outside sat just off the leader, before he was squeezed along on the turn from home. Pulling clear away in closing stages he was always travelling well, which he proved very nicely when winning comfortably by three and a half lengths. After finishing second first time out, we are pleased to see how his debut campaign is unfolding, with his strength in approach improving all the time, and we look forward to seeing much more from him.

We are thrilled to celebrate yet another two-year-old victory, after what has been a fantastic week of form, and we couldn’t be happier for this result for his winning owners, Paul and Clare Rooney.
