We were very pleased to welcome Ice Cool Harry’s winning debut, following his run at Lingfield on Saturday (24th June).
Racing in the Novice Stakes over six furlongs, with John Fahy on board, he was sharp away and took a keen hold but travelled prominently on the outside. Approaching closing stages, he transitioned well to challenge his contender and moved to steal the lead with a determined ½ length in hand over the line. He is a three-year-old with lots of scope and has made very clear progress following each of his performances so far this season. A very pleasing outcome for his owner, Jeff Smith, as we now look ahead to his next entry.
