Kingdom Come Lands Success in Handicap at Kempton

We were delighted to see a run at Kempton (5th April) turn into a winning all-weather performance, as we celebrated Kingdom Come crossing the line in front with a 1¼ length lead in the feature race over seven furlongs.

Breaking well on the rails in a field of six runners, Kieran Shoemark settled the gelding in behind early leaders to establish a nice pace on the inside. With half a mile to go, the four-year-old quickened nicely away making up two lengths to give chase to the front runner, Street Kid. Racing into the final furlong, he showcased his aptitude for speed once again and comfortably challenged to steal the lead.

This was another fantastic result for owning connections, China Horse Club Intl Ltd, particularly as he carried top weight for this race. Following a string of fantastic runs with this horse on the all-weather this winter, we look forward to this promising further success as the season now moves onto the turf.
