Magic Mild Wins Again on Handicap Debut

Taking on her first Handicap challenge, we were thrilled to see two-year-old Magic Mild maintain her winning ways as she secured a back-to-back success over course and distance at Newmarket on Saturday (3rd August).

Running in the Fillies’ Nursery Handicap, this was a step up for her but she seems at home over the July course and this really showed as we watched her win comfortably again with a strong start-to-finish lead, in a similar fashion to her last outing. With a confident Saffie Osbourne at the helm, the pair broke well and took up early pace before she quickened nicely for home when asked. With rivals unable to match her pace, she outclassed the field with an easy length and a quarter to spare. This is another solid performance from her; she is a tough, capable and progressive filly who is improving all the time. She comes from a successful bloodline and we hold a lot of anticipation for what’s still to unfold. A very well done to her owning connections, Jayar Investments, who we hope to have more days like this with her to come.
