Prop Forward Makes a Triumphant Comeback with Win at Kempton

Following a 251 day break from racing, Prop Forward was back with a bang landing first place on the all-weather over six furlongs in the Class 2 Handicap at Kempton (10th April).

With Kieran Shoemark on board once again, the five-year-old put on a powerful display with a start to finish lead. Breaking keenly and finding himself in front next to stable mate, Fernando Rah, the turn for home saw him sprint on and quicken away to confidently cross the line with a ¾ length lead.

It was great to see this gelding make his return to the track a winning one, and thrilled for his owner, Jeff Smith. He is now entered into the Home of Racing Handicap at Newmarket in two weeks time, where we look forward to him taking this impressive front-running display onto the turf.
