On 22nd June during the sunny evening meeting at Bath, we were pleased to welcome home a win with the three-year-old colt, Regal Envoy, in the 5½f At The Races App Form Study Handicap. After a slower break from the stalls to the rest, he quickly showcased his keenness and found a clear running with defining pace on the rail in front of the three other runners, over the first three furlongs. Racing into the final furlong and a half he stretched out following a nudge from Liam Keniry who was on board, where he looked certain to keep his distance between the rest of the field, but was soon pressed again by fellow runners, Ruby Cottage and Adaay in Asia.
Holding out to secure success, we were delighted to see him sustain the challenge and narrowly prevail with this win. A positive performance to watch for all owning connections of the racing club, Kennett Valley Thoroughbreds. He’s a nice horse and we look forward to further progression from him in time to come.
