It was another victory for winning partnership Tregony and Saffie Osborne in the Racing League at Newcastle on 25th August, just two weeks after their success at Lingfield. Once again, running over the 1m2f distance on the all-weather surface, four-year-old Tregony showed her competitive edge with a strong ride from her jockey on board.
Travelling with a similar strategy to last time, Tregony settled well and held a midfield position on the outside, tracking her teammate ridden by Frankie Dettori, before the home turn once again showcased her speed as she chased down leaders and stayed on to finish in front by ¾ length. Delighted for owners Simon Hope and Steven Barrow, who celebrate another success with this consistent filly.
