The three-year-old colt, Watchya, ran a great race to finish with his head in front on the all-weather track at Lingfield on Tuesday 24th May. Riding in the silks of owner Andrew Cohen, jockey Adam Kirby gave him a patient ride over the 6f track, sitting nicely on the rails positioned behind front runners before switching him wide inside the final furlong. He ran on strongly in the closing stages, before finding another gear to go clear of the field with a 2 ¼ length lead over the line.
A very pleasing performance from this horse, as we see him win his season all-weather start this season.
He has a new rating of 90 so better company beckons.
